Most people
driving commercial vehicles be it a ute, 4WD or truck know the loading capacity of their vehicle.
Common sense, isn't it? Before you put anything in it, you make sure you know how much you can put in it.
But, how do you know when you've reached your capacity?
The answer is...... you don't. You load it up till it's full or you've run out of stuff to carry, and then drive away.
This can be harmful to your vehicle, and maybe even dangerous.
Because one day, your shock absorbers or springs might decide they've had enough.

HEAVY LOAD... NO
DRAMA
Fitted as a kit on your vehicle,
Loadtek's Progressive Rubber Spring System allows the standard steel
springs to work unhindered under normal driving conditions. However, when
working under heavy loads, the springs provide progressive resistance as the load
increases. Take up of the load is very smooth, resulting in improved ride,
increased stability and better safety. There's also much less wear and tear on
your suspension. Avoid leaf spring breakages and coil spring sags now, by
fitting Loadtek's proven Progressive Rubber Spring System.

The spring is almost deflected to the point of damage. A small amount of extra load could be enough to either break or invert the spring. |
The leaf is noticebly less deflected than without the rubber spring, this equates to better handling, a smoother ride and less chance of damage. |
ALL SPRINGS ARE NOT CREATED EQUALLY
Springs are available in several configurations to suit most vehicular applications. Each spring type varies as to its capcity, rebound, compression and usage. The most common type of spring used for standard road applications is the double convoluted spring, with the best combination of compression and weight bearing. Trucks and agricultural machinery may need rectangular or single convolution springs. Each of the main types of springs has several types within it (view the spring specifications table). This means you should get some expert advice before deciding which springs to install. Loadtek's trained staff can assist you choose the most appropriate spring for your application and vehicle, and also supply you with a mounting kit that contains all the necessary equipment to make mounting the springs to your vehicle a breeze. If you drive a Holden, Toyota, Nissan, Ford or Mitsubishi Ute, the chances are that a kit is available straight off the shelf to suit your vehicle and the price is listed in our ordering section, simply select your vehicle, insert your email address and someone will make contact with you to organise payment and dispatch options.
